repurpose fabric suit and shoe boxes

I realized that I fibbed on my previous post.  There was a previous craft I did using the suiting material that I forgot about.  I found the idea in Martha Stewart’s Good Things for Organizing book.  The idea takes shoe boxes and suiting material and makes some cute boxes for organizing.

The following are pictures of my little suit boxes.  I use these boxes in my office on a bookshelf to organize extra pens, pencils, envelops, and notepads.

And the inside

If you’d like to try this one yourself, I’m including pictures from the pattern for help.  Spray adhesive and using the shoe boxes as a pattern is a pretty straightforward way to go about it.

To help, the last sentence got cut off, but it was sharing to glue a little piece of ribbon as a tab to pull off the shoebox top, and you’re done.  Who says organizing has to be boring?
